Hey there, folks! If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic at Shewalewadi Phata on the Pune-Solapur Highway, you’re not alone. The heavy congestion in this area has become a nightmare for commuters, with both small and large accidents becoming a common occurrence.

But fear not, because the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary of Pune District, Rahul Shewale, is on the case. He’s demanding a permanent solution to the traffic woes at Shewalewadi Phata, and he’s not taking no for an answer.

Rahul has taken his concerns straight to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Pune Police’s Traffic Branch. They’ve already visited the spot and are working on ways to smooth out traffic flow and prevent further accidents.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic 2), Senior Police Inspector Dhananjay Pingale, and NHAI officials have also joined in on the action. Rahul has even suggested closing a puncture in front of a nearby bus depot to divert buses away from the area.

According to Rahul, the U-turn at Shewalewadi Phata Chowk is a disaster waiting to happen. With encroachment on both sides of the intersection and constant traffic congestion, accidents are bound to occur. That’s why he’s calling for a permanent traffic police controller to be stationed at the troubled spot.

The closure of the puncture in front of the Manjari Stud Farm has only made matters worse, leading to even more traffic jams and hardships for citizens and school students. Rahul is pushing for the enlargement of the existing puncture at Shewalewadi Phata and for regular traffic police to be stationed there to keep things running smoothly.

So, if you’re tired of being stuck in traffic at Shewalewadi Phata, rest assured that help is on the way. Let’s hope these proposed solutions bring some much-needed relief to commuters in the area. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story!
