The aftermath of the tragic Porsche Taycan crash in Pune has taken a new turn as the police delve deeper into the involvement of pub owners. The spotlight is now on the owners of Blak Marriott pub, as they come under scrutiny in the ongoing investigation of builder Vishal Agarwal and the two pubs visited by his minor son prior to the accident.

Police have already made arrests in connection to the case, with the owner and employees of Cosie pub and two employees of Blak club being taken into custody. The absence of the Blak Club owner’s name in the FIR has raised questions, to which Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar explained that the FL-III license is registered under the names of the two brothers who own the establishment, but operational responsibilities have been outsourced to another agency.

The state excise department has also filed charges against Sagar Chordia for allegedly serving alcohol to minors at the Blak Club. The decision to file separate cases post-accident, targeting the teenager’s father and pub representatives, falls under the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act.

The accident, which claimed the lives of two software engineers from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, occurred in Kalyaninagar around 2:30 am on Sunday. Aneesh Awadhia and Ashwini Koshta, both 24 years old, were the unfortunate victims of this tragic incident. The investigation continues as authorities work to bring justice to the families of the deceased.
