Hey there, folks! Today we’ve got a wild story coming out of Junnar Taluka in Pune district. A leopard decided to make a surprise visit to a home, catching two sisters off guard. Riddhi, 20, and Siddhi, 17, were home alone when the unexpected guest showed up at 7 PM on the 18th of December.
The brave sisters didn’t back down when faced with the leopard. Riddhi spotted the big cat first and quickly called her sister for backup. Together, they mustered up the courage to scare the leopard away, earning praise from all around for their quick thinking.
The house where this all went down is near a sugarcane field where leopards are known to frequent. The owner of the house, Khandu Rakhma Khandagale, was away for work when the incident occurred. His wife, Nayana, was outside tending to the cattle, while their daughters were busy inside the house.
Thankfully, the sisters are safe and sound, and the Maharashtra Forest Department has stepped in to ensure the safety of the area. They’ve set up cages and bait to capture the leopard and prevent any future encounters like this one.
So, folks, remember to always stay alert and be prepared for the unexpected, even if it’s a leopard showing up at your doorstep! Stay safe out there!
