In a recent community event in Kalyani Nagar, several candidates vying for the upcoming municipal elections were in attendance. Sunil Tingre from NCP-Ajit Pawar, Bapu Pathare from NCP-Sharad Pawar, and Hulgesh Chalwadi from Bahujan Samajwadi Party were among those present.

During the event, citizens raised various concerns and demands, most of which fell under the purview of corporators. However, with Pune being without corporators for the past three years due to delayed municipal elections, residents were unsure of whom to approach for local issues. The nominated candidates assured the attendees of their support and assistance wherever needed.

The presence of candidates from major party alliances raised questions among voters about the prioritization of local interests. TSKN Chairperson Rachna Agarwal emphasized the group’s commitment to working with the elected candidate to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of Kalyani Nagar.

TSKN expressed gratitude towards the candidates, residents, and members of the press for their participation in the event. The group remains dedicated to advocating for the civic needs of Kalyani Nagar, regardless of the election outcome.
