Attention all passengers traveling through select major railway stations in Maharashtra! Central Railway has put a temporary ban on the sale of platform tickets in anticipation of the year-end rush. This move is aimed at preventing overcrowding on platforms and ensuring a hassle-free experience for commuters.

Starting from 29th December at 12:00 pm until 2nd January 2025, platform ticket sales will be restricted at 14 key stations including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik Road, Solapur, and more. However, senior citizens and individuals with medical needs will be exempt from these restrictions to make their travel easier.

So if you’re planning to travel during this festive period, make sure to plan ahead and follow the new regulations to avoid any inconvenience. Let’s all work together to make the year-end rush a smooth and safe experience for everyone!
