Hey there, folks! Big news coming out of Pune Railway Station on 10th October 2024. A massive fortress check was conducted to crack down on ticketless and irregular travelers, and boy did they hit the jackpot!
Under the watchful eyes of Indu Dubey and Brijesh Kumar Singh, along with Dr. Milind Hirwe, a whopping Rs 1.18 Lakhs was collected from 410 passengers who were caught traveling without tickets or carrying unbooked luggage. Talk about getting caught red-handed!
Hemant Kumar Behera, the Divisional Commercial Manager (Ticket Checking), was leading the charge with 35 ticket checking staff and 2 RPF personnel. They were stationed at all entry and exit gates, making sure no one slipped through the cracks.
The railway officials are urging all travelers to make sure they have valid journey tickets to avoid getting caught and having to pay hefty fines. And for those just visiting the station, don’t forget to grab a platform ticket to avoid any trouble.
