- Passengers Rescued: A total of 21 passengers were rescued between 10.15 hrs to 11.45 hrs by Civil defence and NDRF team. The rescue operation involved cutting the roof of the coach to evacuate passengers, with assistance from RPF of railways.
- Efficient Coordination: All passengers were evacuated by 11.45 hrs and provided with initial first aid by railway doctors. The successful coordination among various agencies highlighted the railway’s readiness to handle crisis situations efficiently.
- Commitment to Safety: Central Railway’s commitment to ensuring passenger safety through proactive emergency preparedness was evident in the drill. Pune Division aims for zero accidents and quick response in case of emergencies.
