Hey there, folks! Here’s the latest scoop from Pune – it’s a real head-scratcher, that’s for sure. So, get this – the accused in a theft case, Sachin Ashok Gaikwad, had a bit of a health scare while in police custody. Yup, you read that right.

Gaikwad, a 47-year-old resident of Mundhwa, was nabbed by the Parvati police along with his buddy Manohar Ramesh Mane on suspicion of theft. They were cooling their heels at Vishrambaug Police Station when Gaikwad suddenly started feeling dizzy on the evening of 9th August.

The cops wasted no time and rushed him to Sassoon General Hospital’s ICU in an ambulance. Unfortunately, it was too little too late – Gaikwad kicked the bucket while undergoing treatment. The doctors suspect it was a cerebral haemorrhage that did him in.

Now, here’s where things get interesting – the investigation into Gaikwad’s untimely demise has been handed over to the Crime Investigation Department (CID). Looks like there’s more to this story than meets the eye, huh?

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 3) Sambhaji Kadam spilled the beans, saying, “Gaikwad’s family was in the loop about his condition. He breathed his last on Saturday evening during treatment. The CID is on the case now, so stay tuned for more updates.”

Well, well, well – looks like there’s more to this tale of theft and tragedy in Pune. Keep your eyes peeled for the next chapter in this gripping saga!
