The Centre for Disabilities Studies and Inclusive Education at SPPU, in collaboration with Christ Deemed University, hosted a groundbreaking conference over the weekend. The “Community Intervention Conference 2024” had the theme “Let Us Dream” and was held at the Department of Education & Extension at SPPU.
The event kicked off with a beautiful lamp lighting ceremony and some introductions by Missel Pinto. Dhananjay Bhole set the tone with a keynote address, while Father Lijo emphasized the importance of community involvement in his opening remarks.
One of the highlights was Prof. Dr. Vilas Adhav, who spoke about the significance of community building and praised the conference’s theme. Dr. Vijay Khare, the Chief Guest and former Officiating Registrar of SPPU, stressed the importance of collaboration in organizing events like this.
The panel discussions were a hit, with insightful conversations taking place among the panellists and moderator. Retired Lt. Col. Patil delivered a motivational speech titled “I Am the Change Maker,” urging individuals to make a positive impact on society.
