The accident near Jambhulwadi on the Katraj-Dehu Road Bypass section of the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway in Pune this morning left one person injured. A container from Pune collided with a container from Rajasthan around 9 AM, resulting in the injury of the Pune container’s driver, Raosaheb Pingare.

Emergency services from PMC and PMRDA quickly responded to the scene, rescuing Pingare from his trapped cabin using specialized tools. The slippery road surface caused by spilled oil was treated with soil to prevent further accidents. The police helped in clearing the traffic congestion caused by the large containers involved in the accident.

Fire Officer Prakash Gore and his team efficiently managed the operation, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved. Pingare was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment after being rescued.
