So, it seems like the Pimpri Chinchwad Police have cracked down on a major financial scam recently. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Doiphode revealed that a duo had set up shop in a mall in Wakad and had branches in various cities, including Pune and New Mumbai.

The victims were promised high returns and even gifts like gold and silver coins if they invested in the scheme. One investor even shared how the company showed him a three-wheeler vehicle and claimed it was his. They even went ahead and took out a loan of Rs 3.66 lakh in his name without his knowledge.

But, as luck would have it, the company vanished into thin air, leaving behind a trail of disappointed investors who had lost a significant amount of money. One investor mentioned how he only received a fraction of what was promised and was given some excuse about a change in company policy.

Luckily, the police managed to track down the suspects all the way to Noida and have them in custody now. It turns out that these fraudsters had scammed a whopping 732 people across different cities, with the total amount reaching a staggering Rs 7 crore.

The investigators managed to recover some three-wheeler vehicles that the suspects had kept in a godown in Thergaon. With the court’s permission, they have returned 37 vehicles to the investors and are working on returning more. Looks like justice is being served, one vehicle at a time!
