Hello Pune peeps! It’s been a hot minute since PM Modi cut the ribbon on Pune airport’s shiny new terminal, but it looks like we’re still stuck using the old, cramped one. Talk about a buzzkill!

The airport bigwigs promised we’d be cruising through the new terminal in just a few weeks, but it’s been crickets ever since. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar even gave them a nudge to get things moving by April 1, but no dice.

Apparently, the hold-up is due to some missing security folks from the CISF. They need 231 more of them to keep an eye on the new terminal, so until they show up, we’re stuck in terminal limbo.

The new terminal is supposed to be a game-changer, with room for 9 million passengers a year and all the bells and whistles. Director Santosh Dhoke says they’ll start using it in phases once they get those extra security peeps.

And let’s not forget about the struggles at the current terminal – it’s like a can of sardines in there! But fear not, dear travelers, the new terminal will supposedly be a breath of fresh air with its swanky facilities.

So, hang tight Pune flyers, the new terminal will be up and running soon (fingers crossed)! Let’s hope it’s worth the wait and puts an end to our airport woes.
