They have secured the 63rd rank in the recent NIRF ranking conducted by the Ministry of Education. Impressive, right?

But wait, it gets even better. 10% of the faculty members at DIAT (DU), Pune are listed in Stanford’s Global Top 2% as Influential Scientists. That’s a big deal!

Dr. B.H.V.S. Narayana Murthy, Vice Chancellor of DIAT (DU), was quick to congratulate Prof. P.K. Khanna, Prof. Balasubramanian K., Prof. Unnikrishnan, Prof. Bhaskar Mazumdar, Prof. Prashant Kulkarni, and Prof. Bazil Raj for their outstanding contribution in defence-related futuristic technologies. These professors have been recognized on standardized citation metrics as influential researchers worldwide.

These professors have been consistently maintaining their rank in the top 2% of scientists globally for the past five years. They are working in research areas such as Free-Space Communication, Quantum Materials, Quantum Optics, Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy, Explosive Materials, Additive Manufacturing, Hydrogen Storage, Radar Systems, Battery Technologies, and Nano Materials, all of which have direct applications in defence-related technologies.
