The Divisional Railway Manager, Rajesh Kumar Verma, hoisted the national flag and led a parade featuring the Railway Protection Force, St. John Ambulance, Civil Defense, and Scouts & Guides. Talk about a patriotic display!
But wait, there’s more! The event also included cultural performances by children and an impressive demonstration by the RPF, complete with a K9 dog show. Who doesn’t love a good dog show, am I right?
After the main event, members of the Women Social Service Organization (WSSO) spread some love by visiting Little Angel School in Balwadi, Tadiwala Road, and handing out gifts to the kiddos. How sweet!
And let’s not forget about the visit to the Divisional Railway Hospital, where patients received fruits, biscuits, and gifts from Swati Verma, the President of WSSO, and her team. It’s heartwarming to see such acts of kindness on Republic Day.
The celebrations didn’t stop there! Various depots and stations across the Pune Division also joined in on the Republic Day fun, with railway officers, employees, and their families coming together for a day of colorful and patriotic festivities.
