Hey there, folks! Today we’ve got some breaking news from Narhe – the Pune Crime Branch’s Anti-Narcotics Cell has made a major bust in the Sinhagad Road area. Three young men have been arrested for allegedly trafficking drugs, including Ganja, LSD, and mephedrone, with a total value of ₹19.45 lakh.
The arrested individuals are Anshul Santosh Mishra, Arsh Uday Vyas, and Piyush Sharad Ingle – all in their twenties and hailing from different parts of Maharashtra. It seems like they were supplying narcotics to a group of youths in the area, but their operation has been shut down thanks to a tip-off received by police constable Sandeep Shirke.
A team from the Anti-Narcotics Cell, led by Police Inspector Sudarshan Gaikwad, set up a trap at Bhumkar Chowk in Narhe and successfully detained the accused. A search revealed a significant amount of drugs in their possession, leading to their arrest and further investigations into their network.
The crackdown on drug trafficking in the area is part of a larger effort by senior officials, including Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, to tackle the issue. The operation was carried out by a dedicated team of officers, including Assistant Police Inspector Aniket Pote and several constables.
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story as the investigation progresses. Let’s all work together to make our communities safer and free from the harmful effects of drug trafficking.
