The peaceful neighborhood of Vadgaon Sheri in Pune was shaken in the early hours of the morning when three individuals went on a drunken rampage, causing extensive damage to vehicles. The incident, which took place around 3:00 am in Ganesh Nagar, Vadgaon Sheri, left residents in shock.
Local citizens quickly alerted the police to the vandalism, and authorities were able to detain one of the culprits on the spot. The other two individuals were apprehended shortly thereafter. The vandals, armed with iron weapons, targeted a number of vehicles in the area, including two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and rickshaws.
The destructive spree resulted in damage to approximately ten to twelve vehicles, leaving the community reeling. The detained individuals, including two minors, are currently being held at the Chandannagar police station as investigations into the incident continue.
The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible behavior, especially when under the influence of alcohol. Residents of Vadgaon Sheri are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities to prevent similar incidents in the future.
