Elderly Man’s Snack Break Turns Costly as Thieves Swipe Rs 5 Lakh Jewellery in Hadapsar

1. An elderly man in Hadapsar made a costly mistake while enjoying a vada pav snack at a local restaurant.
2. The man had just reclaimed jewellery worth Rs 5 Lakh from a bank in Uruli Kanchan and had attached the bag to his bike handle.
3. Thieves took advantage of the situation and stole the jewellery bag while the man and his wife were inside the restaurant.
4. The incident occurred near the Shewalewadi PMPML Bus Stand on Thursday, prompting the senior citizen to file a complaint at Hadapsar Police Station.
5. Police Constable Shrikant Pandule is currently investigating the case to track down the culprits responsible for the theft.
