Imagine coming back from a trip to the USA only to find your property taken over by a gang – that’s exactly what happened to a 69-year-old woman in Katraj. The gang, consisting of Dahalat Gaikwad, Amar Pawar, Ramesh Pawar, Rakesh Bhan, and Manoj Kamble, broke into her bungalow and threatened her with death if she tried to reclaim it.
The woman and her late husband had purchased 25 gunthas of land in 1993, where they built a bungalow in 2004. While they were working in Dubai, they entrusted the property to Vilas Sasane. After her husband’s death, she would visit Pune from the USA occasionally.
Upon returning from her visit in the USA, she found that a group of women had illegally entered the bungalow and taken over the property. The gang forcibly removed her from the premises, claiming ownership based on fraudulent documents.
Assistant Police Inspector Mithun Pardeshi is now investigating the case, and a complaint has been filed at the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. It’s a shocking and unsettling situation for the elderly woman, who now has to fight to reclaim her own property.
