Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated with a bang at Equilife Homes Housing Society in Mhalunge near Balewadi. The residents came out in full force to commemorate the occasion, which kicked off with some beautiful traditional songs sung by the women of the society.
But the real showstopper of the event was the dance performance that showcased Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation ceremony. With over 40 children participating and young ones dressed as Shivaji Maharaj and his soldiers, the atmosphere was nothing short of magical.
Former PMC corporator Baburao Chandere was the guest of honor, adding an extra touch of prestige to the celebrations. Other notable personalities like Samir Chandere, Manoj Padale, and Samir Kolekar also graced the event with their presence.
The aarti of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was performed with great devotion by Baburao Appa Chandore, setting a spiritual tone for the day. The event was impeccably organized by Aniruddha Kale, Abhijeet Sali, Abhijeet Chougule, Akash Birajadar, and Shubham Babhare.
And let’s not forget the delicious “maha prasad” that was distributed to all attendees, courtesy of Vinod Kone from Vijay Caterers. All in all, it was a day filled with reverence, celebration, and community spirit.
