It seems like the Maharashtra State Excise Department is cracking down on late night parties at pubs in Pune. According to reports, Inspector Bobade and Sub-inspector Patil have been suspended for failing to check a late night party at L3 bar on FC Road.
In a statement to Punekar News, a senior officer from the excise department emphasized the importance of following regulations. He mentioned that they have a limited number of personnel to oversee a large population of over 35 lakhs in the city.
The officer also highlighted the necessity for pubs to have the required licenses from the food and drug administration, as well as building permits from the civic body before hosting late night events. It seems like the authorities are taking a stand to ensure the safety and compliance of establishments in Pune.
