The residents of Viman Nagar were thrown into a state of panic on November 4th, as a false bomb threat targeted Indigo Airlines planes at Pune’s Lohgaon airport. The hoax message, which claimed that bombs had been planted on various Indigo flights, was circulated on social media, leading to chaos and confusion.
Himanshu Yogesh Agarwal, a concerned citizen, took matters into his own hands and filed a complaint at the airport police station. Thanks to his quick thinking, a case has been registered against the individual behind the alarming message, who goes by the username “Adamlanza 97514” on social media.
The authorities wasted no time in responding to the threat, with the airport administration and police immediately springing into action upon receiving the message. The bomb disposal squad conducted a thorough inspection of the airport and the aircraft in question, but thankfully, no suspicious objects were found.
Despite the all-clear given by the authorities, passengers were left waiting anxiously at the airport until the inspection was completed. This incident is just the latest in a series of false bomb threats targeting planes, causing unnecessary stress and disruption for both passengers and airlines.
The police are currently investigating to track down the individual responsible for spreading the hoax. As the authorities work to ensure the safety and security of all passengers, it is important for everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.
