Accidental deaths are on the rise in Pune district, with a total of six fatalities reported over the past three days. In the Pimpri Chinchwad area, two deaths and one serious injury were recorded in three separate accidents. Meanwhile, three fatal accidents in the Pune city area resulted in three deaths.

In Talegaon, a man named Veerbhadra Ramrao Shirole was killed after being struck by a reckless driver in a Mahindra Thar on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway. The driver, Mayur Sakhare, has been accused of negligence but has not been arrested yet.

In Bhosari, a minor was killed by a private bus at Gavjatra Maidan. The bus driver has been arrested for negligence.

In Wakad, a pedestrian named Nilesh Gyanshin Inwati was seriously injured after being hit by a private bus. The driver, Anil Jagan Teli, is facing charges of rash driving but has not been apprehended.

Three additional accidents occurred under the Pune Police Commissionerate. A woman named Shweta Limkar died in a bus collision, a minor was killed in a two-wheeler accident, and a senior citizen named Vasant Laxman Tikone was killed by a PMPML bus driver. No arrests have been made in these cases yet.
