Tragedy struck in the Deccan Gymkhana area of Pune as a young motorcyclist lost his life in a collision with a speeding car. The victim, identified as Vinayak Sahebrao Thete, was only 30 years old and hailed from Ahilyanagar district.

The unfortunate incident took place on a Sunday night around 11 PM at Khanduji Baba Chowk. Thete was riding his motorcycle when a car travelling at high speed crashed into him, causing serious injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby private hospital, he could not be saved and passed away while undergoing treatment.

Following the incident, a complaint was lodged by the victim’s relative, Rahul Thete, who resides in Rahatani, Pimpri-Chinchwad. The Deccan Police Station has taken action on the complaint and registered a case against the driver of the car. Police Sub-Inspector Dattatray Sawant is currently leading the investigation into the matter.
