Hey folks, it’s not the greatest news to kick off your Christmas morning, but unfortunately, there’s been yet another accident on the Pune-Solapur Highway. This time, a luxury bus and a truck got into a fatal collision near Visava Dhaba in Daund.
Tragically, one person lost their life in the crash, and between 15 to 20 others sustained injuries. The injured were quickly taken to a nearby hospital in Bhigwan village for treatment. As a result of the accident, traffic on the Pune-Solapur Highway was thrown into chaos.
While the exact cause of the accident is still a bit murky, the police are leaning towards the theory that speeding played a role in the tragedy. It’s a stark reminder for all of us to take it easy on the roads, especially during this holiday season when many are out and about traveling.
