The Federation of Chakan Industries (FCI) recently organized a comprehensive training program on industrial safety in collaboration with the Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) Pune. The event, held at Hotel KalaSagar in Pune, focused on critical safety issues such as robotic operation safety, power press safety, and advanced safety measures in solar installations.
The training program was well-received, with around 400 industry representatives from Western Maharashtra in attendance. The event was inaugurated by Air Marshal Pradeep Bapat, with FCI President Shiv Hari Halan as the chief guest.
The program featured expert-led sessions where industry professionals shared their knowledge on key safety topics. Sessions included power press safety, solar installation safety, and empowering managers in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) legislation.
Key highlights of the event included V. Nikole discussing key safety measures in power press operation, Shrikant Soni highlighting advanced safety protocols in solar installations, A. B. Kharade emphasizing the need to empower managers in enforcing EHS regulations, and Rahul Rokde leading a session on safety measures for robotic operations.
Dilip Batwal, CEO of FCI, emphasized the importance of industrial safety, stating that creating awareness and implementing best practices are essential for a safer working environment. Participants found the program to be very useful and insightful in addressing current industrial safety challenges.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Londhe, Deputy Director of DISH, highlighting the collaborative effort between FCI and DISH to improve safety standards in industries across Western Maharashtra.
