Hey Pune peeps, did you hear about the fire that broke out at Sassoon Hospital on Sunday morning? Yeah, crazy stuff. Apparently, it all went down in the radiology department of Ward No. 2.
But hey, shoutout to the fire brigade at Kasba Fire Station for being on top of their game. They got the alert and rushed over to the hospital to handle the situation. Big props to driver Sameer Sheikh and Tandel Sanjay Gaikwad, along with firemen Shankar Wable and Shubham Deshmukh for putting out the fire like champs.
Thankfully, nobody got hurt in the blaze. The hospital staff did their best to contain it with fire extinguishers before the fire brigade arrived. Unfortunately, a lot of equipment got damaged in the process – computers, tables, chairs, you name it.
The cause of the fire? Looks like it was just a good ol’ electrical short circuit. Stay safe out there, folks, and make sure to keep those electricals in check. You never know when things might go up in flames.
