Hey Pune folks, did you hear about the fire that broke out at a general store near Pune Railway Station? Yep, you read that right, Agarwal General Stores in Wilson Garden went up in flames due to a suspected short circuit. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident, but the shop was completely destroyed.

It all went down at around 4:30 am when smoke started pouring out of the store, quickly turning into a full-blown blaze. Thank goodness for the quick thinking of some alert citizens who called the fire brigade right away.

The fire department wasted no time and sent in two fire engines and water tankers to tackle the flames. Fire Station Officer Vijay Bhilare and his team did a stellar job bringing the fire under control with their water hoses.

But that’s not all – there were some people stuck in the lodge located in the same building. Talk about a scary situation! The Fire Brigade came to the rescue and managed to get them out safely using a ladder.

Phew, what a relief that everyone made it out okay. Let’s all take a moment to appreciate our firefighters for their bravery and quick response in keeping us safe. Stay alert, Pune, and remember to check those electrical connections to prevent any more incidents like this one.
