Hey Pune peeps, big news for the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections! The Election Commission of India has recommended changes to the locations of five polling stations in the Pune Cantonment Constituency, and Deputy Collector Siddharth Bhandare has made it official.
So, what are the changes? Well, voting centre number 226 at Moledina Junior Technical College has been shifted to Mira Co-Operative Housing Society on Shankar Sheth Road. And voting centre number 227, also at Moledina Junior Technical College, has been moved to Anand Park Society on the same road.
But wait, there’s more! Voting centres 245 and 246, previously at Nutan Prathamik Vidya Mandir in Wanowrie, have been relocated to Netaji Co-Operative Housing Society in Wanowrie. And last but not least, voting centre number 273 at Kroot Memorial School in Wanowrie has been moved to K Raheja Gardens in the same area.
Deputy Collector Bhandare is encouraging all voters in the area to make note of these changes and head to the new polling stations on November 20 to cast their votes. Let’s show up and show our support for democracy, Pune! 🗳️🇮🇳 #ElectionUpdates #PuneElections #DemocracyinAction
