Hey guys, Varad Bhatkhande here with some important news coming out of Pimpri Chinchwad. So, due to some crazy heavy rainfall in the Maval area of Pune and the Pavana Dam letting out a ton of water, the rivers in Pimpri Chinchwad are rising like nobody’s business.

This has got officials like Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge and PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh all on edge. They’ve been out in the field all day, checking out the situation and making sure everyone is safe.

Over 1,000 people have already been moved to shelter centers, and the NDRF, Indian Army, and local fire brigade are all on standby in case things get even crazier. It’s like a whole operation going on out there.

In areas like Moshi, Charholi, Chikhali, Kudalwadi, and Bhosari, they’re really keeping an eye on things. Commissioner Singh is calling on residents to move to safer spots and asking for help from NGOs to support the city’s administration.

They’ve got emergency response teams in place, health checks happening regularly, and food and facilities being provided to those affected. Bhosari MLA Landge says they’ve got things under control, but it’s still a pretty dicey situation.

If you or anyone you know needs help, make sure to call the PCMC Emergency Helpline at 9379909090. Stay safe out there, guys!
