The Pune police have been busy conducting a technical examination of the accused, Dattatray Gade’s, mobile phone. And guess what they found? There was no prior contact between him and the victim.

Gade, who tried to make a run for it after committing the crime, was caught by the police in Gunat village in Shirur taluka. He’s now in police custody until 12th March. The court isn’t taking any chances with this guy.

The investigation is in full swing, with statements from the bus driver, conductor, and the accused all being recorded. And it doesn’t stop there. Gade will also have to undergo a DNA test at Sassoon Hospital. The police have already taken his blood samples and seized his phone for forensic analysis. And guess what again? No prior communication between him and the victim.

According to reports, Gade allegedly threatened to kill the victim before assaulting her not once, but twice. The Shivshahi bus where the crime took place is now being examined forensically to gather more evidence against the accused.

Looks like the authorities are leaving no stone unturned in this case. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
