Puja Khedkar, a former IAS trainee, has taken a strong stand against the allegations brought forth by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). According to Khedkar, the UPSC does not have the authority to disqualify her as she has already been selected and appointed as a probationer. She argues that only the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has the jurisdiction to make such decisions.

Khedkar has vehemently denied all accusations, stating that her personal details have remained consistent from 2012 to 2022. She claims that the UPSC verified her identity through biometric data, confirming the accuracy of her documents.

In response to claims of document forgery, Khedkar has maintained that all her records, including academic certificates, Aadhaar card, date of birth, and other personal information, have always been accurate as per the Detailed Application Form (DAF).

Regarding her disability certificate, Khedkar has emphasized that all necessary verifications were completed, including a medical examination by an AIIMS-appointed board as mandated by the DoPT. The Medical Board determined her disability to be 47%, surpassing the 40% threshold required for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category.

The case has garnered significant attention, with Khedkar determined to clear her name and continue her career in public service. The Delhi High Court is expected to review the arguments presented and deliver a verdict in the near future.
