Hey there, folks! Big news coming out of Hinjawadi – a gang planning to rob a petrol pump has been busted by the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate’s Anti-Extortion Squad. Can you believe it?
The squad swooped in and arrested four out of the six gang members at Sakhare Wasti in Hinjawadi yesterday around 4:45 PM. The arrested individuals include Vishnu Digambar Pawar, Karan Rahul Lokhande, Arvind Amar Koli, and Sahil Satish Sureshe. Two other members, Rishikesh Jadhav and Babu Shaikh, are currently on the run.
Apparently, these guys were armed to the teeth with two koytas, an extended sickle, chilli powder, and ropes – all items that are banned by orders from the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner. They were planning to hit up the Shell Petrol Pump in Hinjawadi, but thankfully the Anti-Extortion Squad was there to stop them in their tracks.
A case has been filed against the gang under various sections, including dacoity and the Arms Act of 1959. Police Sub-Inspector Taktode is on the case and will be digging deeper into this foiled robbery attempt.
