The injured man, Pradeep Sawant, initially tried to cover up the incident to avoid getting into trouble with the police. But you know how it goes – the truth always comes out. Turns out, his buddy Anil Chavan was the one who pulled the trigger.
Anil was caught red-handed with an unlicensed country-made pistol. Apparently, these two are pals who work together in real estate. Who knew land transactions could get this intense?
The whole mishap went down late Saturday night while the duo was having a few drinks by the roadside. Anil decided to show off his illegal firearm to Pradeep, and things took a turn for the worse when a bullet accidentally went off, hitting Pradeep in the arm.
Instead of seeking immediate help, Anil dropped Pradeep off near a temple and took off. Pradeep ended up at a hospital in Narhe, where doctors got suspicious and called the cops. Initially, Pradeep tried to spin a tale about being shot by a stranger near the temple, but the cops weren’t buying it.
Thanks to CCTV footage and eyewitnesses, the truth came out. Pradeep finally came clean and spilled the beans about Anil’s involvement. Now, Anil is facing charges for illegal possession of a firearm and is in police custody.
