As the city gears up for the upcoming Ganeshotsav festival, a new initiative called “Healthcare at Your Doorstep” has been launched to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Partnering with various organizations, this initiative aims to provide emergency medical services during the festival.

The unveiling ceremony took place at Faraskhana Police Station and was attended by several key figures from different organizations. The initiative includes a fleet of 30 ambulances strategically positioned at critical locations across Pune, as well as 40 motorcycle units equipped with first aid supplies to provide rapid medical support in congested areas.

A dedicated helpline (108) will be available for urgent medical situations during Ganeshotsav, and the initiative has expanded from six to 30 ambulances to accommodate the growing demand. Dr. Priyank Jawale, leading the medical team, emphasized the importance of swift medical intervention and shared past experiences where the initiative proved crucial in providing emergency medical care.

The event concluded with Nitin Pandit and Ketan Deshpande thanking everyone involved in the initiative and highlighting the collaborative effort to ensure a safe and memorable Ganeshotsav for all. With the festival just around the corner, this new emergency medical initiative is set to make a significant impact in ensuring the well-being of all participants.
