As Ganeshotsav celebrations reach their peak in Pune, the city is buzzing with excitement and energy. From young children to elderly citizens, everyone is coming together to mark the occasion with joy and enthusiasm. The streets of Central Peth areas like Tilak Chowk, Belbaug Chowk, and Alka Chowk are filled with devotees as the Manache Ganpati idols make their way for immersion.

Khadakwasla Dam has started releasing water to ensure a smooth immersion process in the Mutha River, where most idols will be immersed. The chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Ya!” can be heard echoing throughout the city as the festivities continue.

With a strong police presence and traffic restrictions in place, the immersion processions are running smoothly. The weather, as predicted by the IMD, remains cloudy but rain-free, adding to the festive spirit of the day.

Popular streets like Laxmi Road, Tilak Road, and FC Road are bustling with people and music, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Puneites are grateful to be part of this grand celebration, where all barriers of age, gender, and religion are forgotten, and everyone comes together as equals to celebrate Ganeshotsav.
