Hey there, tech-savvy folks! Guess what? The students from G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management in Pune totally crushed it at the Smart India Hackathon 2024! The Third Year Computer Engineering Department team, Tech Simp-2, took home the first position prize for their innovative solution to the problem statement “Fake Social Media Account Detection”. How cool is that?
The winning team, comprised of Satyam Yadav, Puru Sing, Rishabh Kukdeja, Pratiksha Pandey, Jyoti Pandey, and Dhruv Pal, were awarded a cash prize of ₹1,00,000, along with medals and certificates. Talk about a well-deserved win!
Big shoutout to their mentors, Dr. Siddhasen R. Patil and Prof. Apurva Pilay, for guiding them every step of the way. And let’s not forget Dr. Simran Khiani and Dr. Swapnil Mahajan for their leadership and support throughout the competition. Teamwork makes the dream work, right?
