Hey Pune peeps, looks like there’s been some drama in Vadgaon Budruk! Gold ornaments worth a whopping ₹12.40 lakh were recently stolen from a bungalow on Sinhagad Road. The Sinhagad Road police are on the case and investigating the burglary.

Apparently, the theft took place while the complainant’s parents were away on a pilgrimage. The family’s bungalow on Venutai Mahavidyalaya Road in Vadgaon Budruk was empty when the thieves struck. They managed to break into the bungalow, swipe the gold ornaments from a cupboard, and make their getaway.

The crime was discovered by the complainant when they noticed the broken lock and quickly reported it to the Sinhagad Road police station. Assistant Police Inspector Nikam is heading up the investigation to crack the case.
