Hey there, folks! Here’s the latest scoop from Pune – Roaf Gaus Bagwan, a notorious goon accused in an attempt to murder case, has been granted anticipatory bail by the District and Sessions Court in Pune.

His lawyer, Advocate Afroz Shaikh, filed for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita in connection with Crime No. 847/2024 registered at the Lonikand police station. Bagwan is facing charges under various sections including the Arms Act and the Maharashtra Police Act.

The bail was granted by Additional Sessions Judge S.G. Vedpathak with some conditions. If Bagwan is arrested in connection with the case, he will be released on interim anticipatory bail upon executing a personal bond and surety bond of Rs. 25,000. He will also have to attend the police station for investigation as and when summoned.

The incident in question took place on August 29th at Pawar Vasti on Kolwadi-Manjari Road. The complainant, Raju Kaulram Shewale, was allegedly attacked by individuals with whom he had a feud. A pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the scene, leading to the arrest of seven individuals including Bagwan, who was wanted in connection with the case.
