Hey there, folks! We’ve got some interesting news coming out of Pune today regarding the Kalyaninagar accident case. It seems like things are heating up as the grandfather of the teenager involved is not taking things lying down.

S K Agarwal, who is 77 years old, has decided to take matters into his own hands by moving a petition in the Bombay High Court. He claims that he has been wrongfully detained by the Pune Police in connection with a case involving his 17-year-old grandson. The teen is accused of driving a Porsche sports car under the influence of alcohol, which led to a tragic accident resulting in the deaths of two techies in Kalyani Nagar on May 19.

According to reports, Agarwal was arrested on May 25 by the Pune Police’s Crime Branch, and a separate FIR was registered against him by the Yerawada Police Station on the same day. The charges against him include wrongful abduction, illegal confinement, and criminal intimidation of the family driver, Gangadhar Shivraj Hrikrub.

Agarwal’s lawyer, Advocate Aashuutosh Srivastava, is not mincing words when it comes to defending his client. He strongly objects to the arrest, claiming that his client, who is a senior citizen, has been wrongfully implicated based on mere allegations. Srivastava has filed a petition in the High Court to challenge the detention and is confident that justice will prevail.

Well, it looks like things are getting pretty intense in the Kalyaninagar accident case. Stay tuned for more updates as this story unfolds!
