Hey there, folks! Here’s the latest scoop from Pune – lawyer Sahil Dongre’s abduction claim turns out to be a bike accident! The Hadapsar police have cracked the case wide open and revealed that Dongre wasn’t kidnapped and assaulted as he claimed, but was actually injured in a bike accident.
It all started on 18th March when Dongre filed a complaint alleging that he was abducted by a group of individuals near the Hadapsar bus depot. He claimed they assaulted him and left him at Dive Ghat. But hold on, the plot thickens!
Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Rajkumar Shinde didn’t waste any time and assigned Senior Inspector Sanjay Mogle to investigate. CCTV footage and technical analysis revealed that Dongre was actually near Dive Ghat during the alleged abduction. And guess what? Saswad police received a call about a bike accident near Hotel Sairup around the same time!
As the pieces started coming together, it was discovered that Dongre himself called the emergency helpline to report his accident. He was then taken to Saswad Rural Health Center for treatment. But here’s the kicker – the next morning, Dongre went ahead and filed a complaint about the alleged abduction without mentioning anything about his treatment.
After some digging, Hadapsar police admitted Dongre to Sassoon General Hospital and confirmed that he was not abducted but was indeed injured in the bike accident. Looks like the truth always finds its way out, right?
