Hey there, folks! Today we’ve got a wild story for you straight out of Pune. It all started with a forbidden love affair between a young man and a girl from Wagholi. Her family was not on board with the relationship, and things took a dark turn on February 3, 2025.
When the girl mysteriously disappeared, her family decided to confront the boy’s family. As tensions rose, a heated argument ensued. Later that day, the girl’s brother, accompanied by three mysterious men, made a bold move and abducted the boy on two motorcycles.
The incident didn’t go unnoticed, and an FIR was quickly filed at Hadapsar Police Station, citing some serious charges under various sections of the IPC. DCP Dr. Rajkumar Shinde wasted no time in taking charge of the investigation, with Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Mogle leading the way.
Two special teams were formed, led by Assistant Police Inspectors Arjun Kudale and Mahesh Kawale, to track down the culprits. Despite the suspects constantly changing their whereabouts, the police managed to follow their trail through Wagholi, Kesnand, and Wade Bolhai, all the way to Barshi and Solapur.
The breakthrough came when the team intercepted the suspects at Patas Toll Naka and successfully rescued the victim. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the crime, and the police also managed to seize the motorcycles used in the abduction. One accomplice is still at large, so the investigation is far from over.
The operation was a collaborative effort, with Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, DCP Dr. Rajkumar Shinde, and ACP Anuradha Udmale overseeing the mission.
