If you’ve ever found yourself stuck in traffic on Sinhagad Road between Madhukosh Society and Prayeja City Chowk, you’re not alone. But good news is on the horizon! Heavy vehicles will now be banned from this stretch during peak hours, thanks to a directive from Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende.

This move comes as a relief to residents of Madhukosh Society and Prayeja City, who have long been dealing with congestion and safety concerns due to the heavy traffic flow in the area. With multiple housing societies and construction projects in the vicinity, the ban on heavy vehicles is a much-needed step to prevent accidents and improve traffic flow.

The restriction on heavy vehicles will be in place on the Warje service road towards Prayeja City from 8 AM to 11 AM and 5 PM to 8 PM every day. This will help reduce the impact of industrial estates in Dhayari and Narhe, which have been contributing to the increased movement of heavy vehicles in the area.

If you’re a resident facing traffic-related issues in this area, don’t hesitate to voice your concerns. Submit written complaints to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police on Golf Club Road in Yerwada. Together, we can work towards a smoother and safer commute for all.
