The condition of roads in Hinjawadi IT Park has become a major cause of concern for IT professionals and residents alike. Potholes have taken over the streets, making it difficult for commuters to navigate the area safely. The lack of proper maintenance has only worsened the situation, with heavy monsoon rains adding to the existing problems.

The Engineering Cell of the BJP, along with Sagar Nandakishor Birari and other IT Forum members, have been vocal about these issues, highlighting the challenges that have persisted for almost a decade. The exodus of over 37 IT companies from the area in the past ten years due to infrastructure deficiencies has further underscored the urgency of the situation.

Despite being a key employment and revenue hub, Hinjawadi IT Park continues to struggle with narrow roads, severe traffic congestion, and the absence of on-site traffic police. Ongoing metro construction has only added to the chaos, leading to daily traffic jams that have become a nightmare for commuters.

In an effort to address these pressing issues, employees have been calling for immediate intervention and have requested meetings with local authorities to discuss potential solutions. Industry Minister Uday Samant has been urged to step in and improve the infrastructure and management of the area to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and workers.

Pradeep More, an IT professional, recently met with MP Shrirang Barne to discuss the challenges faced by IT professionals in the region. More stressed the importance of responsible authorities taking a proactive approach to address these issues and provide the necessary infrastructure and facilities that taxpayers deserve. It remains to be seen how these concerns will be addressed and whether tangible solutions will be implemented to alleviate the woes of those living and working in Hinjawadi IT Park.
