1. Tragic incident at Daund Railway Station: An Indian Army Naik dies while disembarking from a running train.
  2. The deceased individual, identified as Bhausaheb Shahanu Deokar, was just 48 years old and a resident of Shahapur, Taluka Nevasa, District Ahilya Nagar.
  3. According to constable Arun Tingre, Deokar was serving in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a Naik and was on his way home for vacation.
  4. Deokar was traveling on the Chennai-Mumbai Express and planned to get down at Daund railway station to reach his house in Ahilya Nagar.
  5. Unfortunately, the train did not stop at Daund railway station, prompting Deokar to jump off the moving train with a bag on his back.
  6. Tragically, the weight of the bag shifted towards the train, causing Deokar to be trapped under the train and resulting in his untimely death.
  7. Daund Railway Police have since handed over his body to his relatives, and the incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers of attempting to disembark from a moving train.
