The Indian Military has been called in to assist in the investigation of a hit-and-run case involving a Porsche car in Pune. Officials from the military will analyze the accident and provide their insights to help with the case.
According to an officer, the military’s report will play a crucial role in determining exactly how the accident occurred, aiding both the police and the court in their investigation.
Recent developments have shed light on the case, revealing that doctors from Sassoon Hospital and the Agarwal family allegedly tampered with the blood samples of their minor son to protect him. Two doctors have been arrested in connection with this, and a total of 10 individuals have been apprehended so far in relation to the case.
The incident occurred in Kalyani Nagar on May 19, when the 17-year-old son of builder Vishal Agarwal, driving his father’s Porsche under the influence of alcohol, collided with a two-wheeler, resulting in the tragic deaths of two IT engineers. The severity of the impact was such that one of the victims was thrown 15 feet away and died on the spot.
The case has sparked outrage both locally and nationally, prompting legal action against the minor driver under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act. A complaint was lodged at the Yerwada Police Station by Aqib Ramzan Mulla following the incident.
