Divisional Railway Manager Indu Dubey is leading the charge at Pune Station, with the Commercial Department team, headed by Divisional Commercial Manager Hemant Kumar Behera, launching an awareness campaign. They used banners, posters, and a street play to educate passengers about the benefits of using QR codes for ticket purchases.
The advantages of this new system include faster transactions, no need for cash, enhanced security, and more transparency. A spokesperson from the Pune Division of Central Railway emphasized that the goal is to provide seamless travel experiences for passengers.
