IndiGo has made some changes to its Pune-Bangkok flight schedule in hopes of boosting passenger numbers and avoiding the issues that caused a previous route to be suspended. The Pune Airport Authority stated that the revised schedule is aimed at keeping travelers informed about the new flights.

The new flight schedule will see flights operating on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing Pune at 11:10 p.m. and arriving in Bangkok at 4:45 a.m. The return flights from Bangkok will run on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing at 1:15 a.m. and landing in Pune at 4:15 a.m.

Currently, Pune Airport operates two other direct international routes – a SpiceJet service to Dubai and a Vistara flight to Singapore. Previous attempts to run a Pune-Bangkok route by SpiceJet in 2013 and 2022 were unsuccessful, leading to the route being discontinued. The new schedule hopes to avoid a similar fate and attract more passengers to the route.
