Hey there folks! Varad Bhatkhande here with some exciting news from Pune on the 23rd of September 2024. The Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports recently organized a ‘Yuva Connect’ program at Modern College as part of the Vikasit Bharat Campaign. And guess who was there? None other than the Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Kiren Rijiju himself!

During the event, Minister Rijiju had a direct chat with the students present, along with Dr. Gajanan Ekbote and Prof. Nivedita Ekbote. Rijiju emphasized the need for India to strive for development and reach the status of a ‘vikasit’ nation. He talked about the intelligence and potential of Indian citizens and set a goal for India to become developed by the year 2047, marking 100 years of independence.

Rijiju also encouraged the youth to actively participate in shaping the future of the country. He mentioned the importance of politics in various fields and highlighted the clean image of the Modi government, stating that there has been no corruption scandal in the past decade.

In other news, the Central Waqf Council has received over 5 lakh objection notices for the Waqf Bill, setting a world record. Minister Rijiju expressed that all objections will be taken into consideration as the Bill goes before the Joint Parliamentary Committee.

And let’s not forget the sly comment Minister Rijiju made about Delhi’s new Chief Minister Atishi being a “remote-controlled CM”. He also criticized the idea of leaving Arvind Kejriwal’s seat vacant, stating that it makes no sense.

So there you have it, folks! Exciting updates from the Vikasit Bharat Campaign and some spicy political commentary from Minister Kiren Rijiju. Stay tuned for more news and updates!
