According to reports, Sujata was outside her house early this morning when the leopard pounced on her, dragging her into a nearby soybean field. The Maharashtra Forest Department was quickly notified of the incident, prompting them to spring into action.
In an effort to capture the rogue leopard, the Forest Department deployed cages, cameras, and even drones. Despite their efforts, the elusive feline has managed to evade capture thus far.
In response to the incident, authorities have issued a series of precautions for residents to follow. These include clearing grass near homes and roads, ensuring proper lighting, using indoor toilets, avoiding outdoor activities during dark hours, and sticking together when venturing outside.
