Hey there, folks in Ambegaon! It seems like the Maharashtra Forest Department is having quite the time trying to deal with some leopard trouble in your area. Just this morning, they managed to capture a one-and-a-half-year-old leopard in a cage, but not without some drama. A female leopard showed up and tried to free the captive by hitting the cage. Talk about loyalty, huh?

This isn’t the first time the forest department has had to deal with leopards causing a ruckus in your settlement. This little cub is actually the fourth leopard to be captured in just 18 days! The first one was caught on 12th August, followed by a male leopard on 18th August, and another leopard on 25th August. And now, we have this female cub making an appearance.

Local farmer Maruti Karbhari Bhor seems to be on top of things, as he was the one who spotted the female leopard hanging around the cage bright and early in the morning. The forest department wasted no time in swooping in with their rescue teams to take the cub into custody. The whole operation was quite the event, with farmers, forest department officials, and villagers all lending a hand.

But the situation is far from over. Maruti Bhor has reported seeing yet another female leopard in the area, and there have been reports of leopards attacking livestock. The fear among the residents is palpable, and they’re calling on the forest department to step up their game and install more cages to keep these big cats at bay.

And just a heads up – that female leopard was not too happy about being captured. She tried to break free from the cage, which could mean she’s feeling a bit aggressive. So, everyone in Ambegaon, be on the lookout and stay cautious!

Looks like the forest department has their work cut out for them, but we’re rooting for them to keep you all safe from these wild visitors. Stay safe, folks!
